it' s not a "kit" the builder has an engineered drawing and pre built the trusses at his shop and everything was cut to size at metal depot and the builder
hauled them over and erected it. thanks for the interest
I know when I started I weighed all options and asked a ton of questions up until the very time it was standing and I asked question on each stage as it was being built. I' m glad everyone was upfront with me it made it go so much easier
Total I have just under $30,000. I have $9000 just in the foundation and cement.$16,800 for the structure completed. $2000 electrical.then odds and end costs worth every penny. I can say everyone I had do any work did great jobs
Thanks. The trusses were part of the "kit" a place out of Orange, TX called Metal Installation buildings.
Steel was the only way to go for me. I'm not knocking anybody! I have a good friend that installs pole barns it's just not what i wanted, but to each their own. I should never have to deal...
My front door is 12x12 and the back door is 10x 10. They are the coiled sheet which isn't as high of a wind rating and the price was lower. I got a "family" deal and gave $1550 for both when other places quoted me 1550 to 1875 for the 12" and 1350 to 1550 for the 10". They are overhead door brand.
So I finally got my electricity turned on I would've posted ealier but my computer was acting up.

This is the disconnect for the compressor and the welding area. Still have odds and ends to do
All right it's been a little while since I updated. Had a some issues on the home front. Good news i passed my final inspection last week and the electricity should be hooked up any day now. I was able to pick up a couple of items to start some projects.
