    your choice on the glue. carpet glue is sold at menard's and such, get the indoor/outdoor stuff. tack the bottom of the first wooden step at the concrete floor right where the edge of the carpet meets the concrete make sure to only hit the wood, then get a chisel that is 2 to 4 inches wide and...

    Welding O1 Tool Steel

    Used to weld it all the time. Pulley shafts for industrial conveyors. Never had a problem unless I overheated the weld by a lot and that was when I pounded the slugs into the 3/8 wall dom tube.     Some Lathe Stuff

    Sounds silly but I clamp a smaller chuck in to the bigger one that is in the lathe then the workpiece into the smaller chuck. Works everytime.

    Just a suggestion but in my 20x21 I put the compressor in the attic. Much less noise and definitely a space saver.

    Machining and Fabricating

    Southern Wisconsin. Here. Brigeport mill, mig welder, lathe soon as I'm starting a part time side business machining. As if I dont get enough during the day. CNC to come as work picks up, thought it would be nice to retire into or as a contingency plan.
