I finally mounted an old swivel-base vise on top of tool chest hardwood top. I had to cut/grind three carriage bolts to size - placing bolt upside down (with bolt ends sticking out on top of table through vise-holes. The nuts were fastened and sanded down to clear way for swivel to turn 360...
