    Let's see your toolbox.

You guys are so lucky to have the us general boxes over there, the options in Australia are dismal, the snap on boxes are even made in china but still priced at the made in usa prices.

The Official Tekton Tool Thread . . .

Anyone have any idea if they’re going to eventually come to Australia? Our current choices are either poor quality or extremely overpriced.

What’s your opinions on this? Dude is a clown.

Crowfoot + Ratchet / Breaker bar versus Actual Wrench?

Depends what you’re working on. Some situations you can get away using either, some situations only a certain configuration will work I prefer a regular flare nut wrench, feels the most solid. If the job requires a breaker and crowfoot I always feel like the attachment at the anvil doesn’t...

Looks Like It's Going to Be Another "Made in America" Failure to Me

Working on gas infrastructure we get new tools provided by the company for every new project. Boss gives us the card and we go to the local tool shop and load up with what we’ll need. Tool shops in Australia really have a **** selection of hand tools so if Milwaukee brings these out down here...

Does Gearwrench have an entry level quality?

I think these were a failed experiment to see if anyone would notice the difference from their regular product line. There’s a reason these are only $99. The original ratcheting flexheads are still available at $300

Is there a middle of the line tool chest in the USA?

Not all the kra boxes are made in USA anymore. I have an older one that was made in Canada and a newer one that was made in china

Still think Wiha makes quality tools?

I have some Wiha flush cuts, they say Germany on them but the cardboard package they were attached to said made in Vietnam, work fine for me anyway

Tekton angle head wrenches usa made

If you can’t figure out a use for them then you probably don’t need them, pretty obvious? They are very useful for machinery and pipe/flange work

    Tools of Japan

Does anyone use koken regular or zeal sockets with snap on ratchets? Sounds like the regular should be ok and the zeal might have issues? Thinking about getting a full set of regular koken deep and shallow and a set of the shallow zeal if they fit ok with the snap on, not interested in...

Between 485 & 705 SQ/FT Rudi's Datsun resto and late nights shed in Australia.

Hey Rudi, car and garage are coming along great. Can I ask how you went about restoring those longchamps? I have the same wheels that unfortunately got spray painted when my car was stolen, have the car back now and had a quick clean up but definitely need a bit more work to look as good as...

Williams Pro Series Cabinet & Chest (S/O Heritage) thoughts?

Wish these were available in Australia, the snap on kra series we get now are made in China, my one is a bit older and made in canada
