I took it apart to try and get it to work the way I wanted. But a replacement was $40, so I sucked it up and bought it. But I kept the old one and will put it back together so I have a spare. It is very simple. Thank you everyone for your help.

o, ye of little faith. Its not complicated its just the order of installation I need help with.

I'll get pictures of the gubbins when I can, because of the design: a large spring pushes the contacts apart until the pressure needle drops so contact can be made and the compressor will kick in once a screw was removed the whole thing flew apart.

Hello, I am a new member looking forward to years of good fun on what looks like a great place to be. I found this forum because I am having trouble putting back together my Ingersoll Rand Garage Mate pressure switch. It is either a 23474570 or 23474588. Long story short, it came apart...
