Very impressive transformation. Also a running car for that price is outstanding, we can barely get a running car for $2,000 and even then it is very rough and high miles.

This is going to be another I have to follow along with, they are such cool looking trucks. It'll be a fun driver and I'm sure will turn a lot of heads once it receives the Don Long treatment.

It was a great trip, I took the Viper and really enjoyed the roof and AC. Now when stuck in traffic getting into some of the events for nearly an hour the AC can't overcome the V10 heat so it was windows down. After the last stop in Tulsa everyone came to my house including my daughters and...
A little range therapy is always good for the mind and soul. I took my first roadtrip with car friends a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it, but wow premium gas in Illinois was painful. I went from high $4 range here to $6.09/gal on my first tank there.

I completely agree there, both being worth it, and being the bigger man. It is tough and I'm still in the bitter stage, but working through it one day at a time. The biggest positive that came out of this is I have dedicated time with my daughters and get to make memories I wouldn't have had...
Thanks for checking in, things are looking up. I'm pretty settled in the house now, it has been a chore keeping up with the lawn between all the rains and storms this summer. Biggest news is the divorce is finalized, done and done. It was a pretty big financial hit and I'll be paying for it...
It has been a while since I thought about your thread, some major tool upgrades. Glad to see you are still kicking around, I look forward to what you work on next.

That is a very incredible accomplishment, well deserved. I've done some centuries, ultra runs, and Ironmen but never dreamed of doing one that would mean I have to go through the night. Impressive for sure, take a rest and I look forward to what you go for next.

I had to look up the Saab Sonett, the second generation was a very cool looking car and they are priced reasonably for driver quality cars. I may have to add that to my list of cars to watch on BaT.

It is interesting the car has an automatic brake bias sensor, I didn't even know what was a thing. That is a very common suspension style, I would think finding springs from a similar car with a lower spring rate would help lower it some, but may make it ride very soft and increase the chances...
That is a very cool setup for what I think will save you a ton of time in the future. Also it'll be nice not to have to carry so many 5 gallon buckets around.
