I used a low voltage spotlight (12 volt, 50 watt) and timer for mine. It has a stake you stick in the ground and the spot is adjustable for alleviation. Malibu is the brand name I believe. Bought it at the big box store.

I have a bug zapper hanging behind my house. I've had it for several years. When I first got it the instructions said that in order to kill flies and mosquitoes with it you had to bait it to attract them. I don't have the manual anymore so I can't tell you what you bait it with. A google...
Don't mean to hijack your thread, but what kind of drain tubing is that? Is it perforated? Do you just trench it in and end it under ground or does it go to some type of drywall or sump? I would like to do something with mine.
Thanks,
Jon
I am going to be building a 28' x 28' garage in the spring. The walls will be 9' feet high (all that code allows). The roof trusses will be of the scissors type putting the roof peak at about 11 1/2' high. The walls will be drywalled and painted with the dark to light paint...
Anything can be done for a price.
You could have the garage jacked up or moved off site while a new foundation is laid.
Or you could start from scratch.
Either way, you will be paying for a foundation. What you need to find out is the difference between jacking up or moving the existing...
Joe,
I've kind of got the same problem in Northcentral Iowa. Prices very wildly from one contractor to another. I'm looking at a 28 x 28 stick built on a slab with a rat wall foundation. I talked to 3 different contractors until I found one willing to work with me and meet my price of $15...
Sears has it. It's kind of expensive. A 2' x 4' sheet os $42.00. I'm sure they have other sizes. Google "metal pegboard" and you will find all kind of vendors.

Hey Junk,
That's the best one yet. I'm still laughing. "Death by Shed" sounds like a painful way to go.
I don't know if it's El Nino or global warming, but this winter has been great. I have a snowblower that I have used twice this year. Two years ago I used it 14 times. With the...
I could probably do that. The only thing is it might not be for another 3 months or so. Still pretty cold here in God's Country. I going to finalize things with the contractor tomorrow. I can't wait for spring.

Let's see 17,000 lbs. of barn divided by 344 people = 49.41 lbs per person.
Guessing that my shed weighs 1,500 lbs. I would need about 30 people. That is doable. My question is how much beer does that figure out to be?
Actually talked with my contractor today. He says he has done...
I am in the planning stages of a 28X28 garage / shop build this summer.
The weather was to bad (translated - cold) so I went out to the back yard to do some measuring.
I have a 8X12 wooden storage shed that is about 23 years old that sit where I want to put the garage. The floor is built...
Another Question:
What would happen is you mixed some of the colored broadcast chips in as the concrete was being mixed. Would they come to the top like aggregate when the concrete was being floated or troweled?
Thanks,
Jon
