I need to see if there are any of those charging ports for my NOCO chargers. The ones I have don't have any provisions for mounting to a surface. The one in my Audi is just in the cowl area so I can access it without having to open the hood.
Love the shiny fat fives! Wish I could find a...

I was able to check the rotation of the cams with the caps installed correctly and no lifters. Everything seemed to rotate just fine. I got the head and timing belt put back together and rotated everything several times to check the timing.

Glad you found my thread! Yeah, I was born and raised in Tulsa, went to TU and live north of town now. I graduated from TU in '96.
As I went through the restoration, the windshield was replaced. So there shouldn't be any ingress from there, but there are other spots that can leak. When I...
Nice work on that interior. it looks great. What did you use on the seat belts?
I have some front inner CV joint work in my future when I decide to swap in my 6 speed 01e since the axle cups are 108mm vs 100mm.

Happy New Year everyone!
I used the new wash buckets for the first time and gave the Audi its first real wash in a long time. They worked great. I like that they are tethered together, have nice casters and the drain plug is a nice addition.
As for how the Audi is doing...the swapped...
I have the same racks or something very similar in my shop. A pair are holding some scrap wood and the other pair are holding a spare bumper and roof racks. It's nice not having to walk over/around those items on the floor anymore!
Great minds think alike! I actually did have them wrapped with a clear protective film.
And yes, they have dirt traps on the bottom. These have a larger grid spacing which makes them easier to grab and pull them out without having to turn the bucket upside down.
