Subpanel off of Meter/Main for attached garage

Excellent. To that end, I'm thinking I'll probably do THHN in Schedule 80 since this is going to go under a slab. It's a relatively short run (~40 ft.) so shouldn't be too tough. Any thoughts on that vs. direct bury?

Subpanel off of Meter/Main for attached garage

Thanks @Stuff. I took the panel off and looks like there is a small bus bar there (pic below) so I should be able to put a 100a breaker to wire a subpanel? I'm aware that it is of course subject to a load calculation, but the existing 200a panel being fed from service disconnect 2 powers quite...

Subpanel off of Meter/Main for attached garage

Wanted to get a sanity check since I'm not as familar with these Meter/Main combo boxes. I have a Meter/Main combo (Eaton HPC4046) where the 400a main feed enters the meter base, from there, it's attached to a dual service disconnect that feeds two main panels in my basement. I'm in the...

    ArmorPoxy Epoxy Full Flake Install

I only have the primer photo because as soon as you put down the epoxy, the flakes need to go down. I do think the primer photo gives a relatively good indication of the color of the epoxy though.

    ArmorPoxy Epoxy Full Flake Install

I recently found time to apply the ArmorPoxy Full Flake Epoxy kit and figured I'd share the results. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the kit and the application. A few thoughts about the product and the process: Overall the kit appears to be high quality and I don't expect I'll have any...

    Floor coating for residential basement

I just finished a similar project about 8 months ago. New construction home with unfinished basement, like you moisture was not an issue for me. I didn't finish the whole basement, just a single room that serves as a multi-use shop to do some light woodworking, tinkering, mechanical, etc. No...
