    Hey From Denver

We had our garage sale this past weekend. Maybe 75% of what I had to sell is now gone. One table saw and one vintage craftsman shaper are left to be rehomed. By nest week I think I will be to a point where I can share some photo's of the greatly improved work place. BTW- we cleared about...

Vintage Craftsman/Sears power woodworking tools - your opinions and reviews and pictures

Yesterday, I found this super cute, ultra mini Sears table saw. "VINTAGE CAST IRON TOP TABLE SAW SEARS ROEBUCK 149.24121 ". The table is 10" wide and 13.5" deep. I bought it thinking I could restore it and make it a bench top table saw for doing my very small hobbies. This particular saw is...

Vintage Craftsman/Sears power woodworking tools - your opinions and reviews and pictures

Okay folks, I searched and did not find a thread that listed the older Craftsman OR Sears vintage power tools. There are many threads discussing individual tools, but none with a collection of multiple types, models or ages. I thought it would be good to create a thread for reviews of the older...

Post up your Powr-Kraft and other Wards tools

Once realized the first two digits were model year, I searched on Powr-Kraft 2284. This gave me a lot more options to look at. I did have to look through about 10 of these types of folders to find it though

testing for a pdf attachment I think this worked. On page 5 of the pdf it lists a 2284 "k" not "a". It looks identical to mine and it is a 6" table saw.

Okay, I have been looking at serial numbers and one of the registries. It appears that the early powr-kraft machines had a model number that incorporated the year of manufacture. My saw above starts with a 94, reverse that and you have a 49, or 1949 manufacture. This corelates to all of the...

    Hey From Denver

Thanks. Maybe 4 years ago I bought a new set of husky boxes to handle my tools. Last year they went to ****. I had spent nearly $1k on those new boxes. What a waste. I started looking for some new QUALITY boxes. They cost a small fortune. I decided to look at used stuff. I think I have about...

    Hey From Denver

Thanks for all of the warm welcomes. The pics below are embarrassing to me. They are as my garage is today. So public humiliation for me, and then the journey begins. It is time to start the process and attempt to become organized, neat, and clutter free.
