Left my 28'x48' -- NOT showing off stupid 20' x 27' attached garage

Re: Leaving my 48'x28' garage behind; moving up to York, PA I live in York, work in Dallastown. Like anyplace, there are pluses and minuses. One thing that caught me by surprise here is the school tax. When I bought a house I thought property tax was pretty reasonable. Not until closing did...

Need High-Build Epoxy Recommendation for Rough Floor

You might consider a product like Dayton Level-Layer or Ardex K15. These are cementitious self-leveling toppings. Either would give you a nice floor surface for epoxy.

    floor drain

If anything heavy or with a high p.s.i. will be rolling over the drain, consider something like Polydrain made by ABT. More money, but way stronger. It's a polymer-modified cementitious material with a choice of various heavy duty grates. It has fall built in so water flows to the outlet.

    Patching concrete

Why fill it only to tear it out when it cracks later? At the least you need an expansion joint; I'd consider keylock as well.

Most durable floor coating for welding, casters, etc...???

Visit your local concrete supply company and ask about densifiers and surface hardeners. If liquid spills aren't a frequent concern, that may be satisfactory.

Shot Blasting Rental Rate $400 / Day

That's about the going rate for a shotblaster here, too. The blaster is more maintenance-intensive than the grinder, therefore more expensive to own and operate.

    Masonary wall coating systems

I think you are looking for EIFS. Possible brand names are Parex and Dryvit.

    Floor Vapor Barrier

Around here (PA) 6mil is typical, but for those who want quality, Stego is the way to go.
