I used mine not bolted for a few months before I got around to drilling the anchor holes. The lift is MUCH more solid and steady when a heavy vehicle like my Excursion is overhead on it. I feel installing the anchors was well worth the afternoon of labor and 8 anchors.
I have an older metal building that is currently uninsulated. Just metal siding on metal framing. 18x40
Last year I added a 5 ton package AC unit and external insulated ductwork. It actually works pretty well the few days a month I need it....Until the temps hit the upper 90s.
I would like...
The HomeFlex is Stainless Steel and meets code in most jurisdictions now for direct burial. While it is more expensive, it does not require a grounding line nor joints and metal risers as it IS metal. All joints are above ground and easy to test. Its much easier to install.
Don't understand the concern for air for the release. Having used a few lifts with mechanical release, as they get older the release mechanism is a pain. The air is a simple push of a button. And they use very little air. If your shop does not have any air available, a small 1/2hp compressor...
The newer Milwaukee Fuel line fixed that issue. Fuel tools use and inverter drive so the battery voltage no longer has much bearing on how powerful the tool is. Many are MORE powerful than the air or corded tools they replace. The M18 battery set is going to be around for many years. Air...
I gave up on butane soldering iron and went with a Milwaukee cordless. No more flames, no more refills, no more problems. It just works and heats up even faster than the butane one I had.
None other than it was a convenient location in my install. My air line comes down from overhead drop along with power. Yes, there is a lubricator in the air set. I used an IR air set.
I split the difference and went with Bendpak / Ranger. Its a chinese manufacture machine but with US support and parts. Been very happy with both tire machine and balancer so far.
I have a Bendpak lift with two RJ-45 trolly jacks and it all runs from a single 1 HP California air tools compressor. The RJ45 does not consume enough air to empty the compressor tank so you can fully lift it without running out of air. Also it only needs 125 psi to get to a full 4500 lbs lift...
It does sit up above the deck but even my Vette Z06 clears it without diffeculty. Push the bridge jack all the way to the forward end to start and you may not have to drive over it at all. If you do, placing it at the end closest to the ramps will give you more clearance as the nose of the...
Anyone know of any equipment suppliers that would be willing to cut a deal on a couple pieces of Ranger tire equipment below full retail?
Looking to purchase a DST30P balancer and motorcycle wheel adaptor kit shipped to my shop in 77070.
Anyone on here a sales rep for Ranger equipment? I am looking to purchase a DST30T balancer for our shop and was hoping to get a better offer than the standard online pricing. Need a set of motorcycle wheel adaptors too.
