Even brand new cars have emergencies -- pick up nails, screws, tire failure, etc. I would want my child to be self-sufficient if need arises. What if she's out of phone range and can't call AAA. What if her phone is dead. What if the tow co's are busy and it's going to take a while to get there...

Yeah that makes sense because a clogged aerator would slow water flow so the heavier minerals would build up then come out all at once when aerator is cleaned.
