I Broke my cheap Pittsburgh 2lb dead blow. Was just gonna toss it but noticed it had a lifetime warranty, so headed to the local HF to swap it out. Super painless and brought home 2 more. I love snap on stuff, but for 8$ for 2lb dead blow with lifetime warranty, Im good with it.
not a truck guy, so this is a spitball. Because he has to order those items and you can buy them cheaper elsewhere. The draw to the truck is to have the item right then and now, truck financing, and warranty.
Honestly why would I spend extra to order off the truck when I can get it cheaper off...
new update on snap ons website shows the new style extra long flex head 3/8 comfort grip. I just picked up the non flexhead in green still thinking about getting the flex head. anyways here yah go...
I bought some stuff off excess tools. Typical china ****. I would look elsewhere. This is just based off the tools i ordered. Maybe they have better tools, but i have never seen any in the wild elsewhere.
the SHF80 is right around 17" too. around 12" comfort would be good. Looks like im outta luck here.
Ive gone to only snap on ratchets. Dont know what it is about them, but I love them. dont even want to go with anything else.
So I dont have the luxury of the snap on truck stopping at my house, so I have to order from online. Im trying to find a flex head 1/2 equal in length to the SH80A. I got the SHF80A expecting it to be close, but its longer than my SHL80A. I also have the SKF80A but thats a stubby without comfort...
Got my order in from excess tools. Good shipping and decent prices. The monster tools I have are china made and low quality. I'd be sending them back if i hadn't got them so cheap. Also got a few sockets to fill the hansen trays.
I could see that. Luckily for me my truck doesnt have spark plugs  I may eventually get the snappy magnetic spark plug sockets, but havent gotten around to it yet, my old ones never cause me issues when I need them.
