I realize that the date didn't make much sense, however that is what is stamped on the vise.

Regarding the e-bay & google search. I've done that & there doesn't seem to be one that has sold anywhere. I'll keep looking tho & thanks for the info.

I inherited a Chas Parker 493 bench vise from my Dad & would like to know any info regarding value. The patent date states 1830. It seems to be a little early given what research I have done, but I have looked at it 57 times & it still says 1830. I would appreciate any info regarding value...
