Okay it's all starting to become more clear to me. The XC not only has better run time but more power. Is there a huge difference in power between your compact and XC batteries? Is there ever a time you feel your compacts just don't have enough juice and you had to bust out the XC batteries...

Yeah the XC battery looks huge compared to the compact. It must have better runtime forsure. So is it just a matter of runtime? Both being 18v, will they provide the same power output from the tool itself on a full charge? I have heard about Milwaukee constantly changing their batteries over...

Ive been on the market for an Impact Driver for a couple of months now. I've decided to go with the M18 Fuel line up of impact drivers and cannot find any information on the difference between the two batteries they offer...
