It is my understanding, that for amazon.co.jp you need a separate login. For whatever reason Amazon JP is not linked liked the DE, CA, and UK sites.

    Tools from the old world

Thank you for sharing your experience with Stihl. Glad to hear they are holding up and exceeded expectation. Definitely a factor to consider. Right out the gate my immediate need is a hedge trimmer and a pole saw. I was of Stihl's three different battery systems, and it looks like only their...

    Tools from the old world

Figure I'd try this thread before creating a brand new thread. Does anyone have experience with either or both the Husqvarna and Stihl (AP series) battery-powered systems? Husqvarna:https://www.husqvarna.com/us/products/battery/ Stihl (AP series)...

    Tools of Japan

I'll be honest, I never really looked for second-hand tools in Japan. I plan on heading back in November so I'll have to see what I can find in the Nagoya area. But for me, quality of the Japanese tools are very good, and the prices are very appealing. I try to buy tools when I go to Japan...

    Tools of Japan

The Astro store in Nagoya also sells PB Swiss, which is nice. Since I swing by Japan at least once a year I sometimes stop by Astro, but like gbh, Hodaka is my go to store. The Nagoya store carries almost everything from KTC and TONE. Another tool reseller similar to Astro, Straight Tools...

    Napa - Carlyle tools sale?

My NAPA had the semi truck in the parking lot around early December. I can not recall but I believe everything (or at least the hand tools) was 40-60% off, not only the Carlyle stuff but also the Gearwrench and the Armstrong. Whatever they did not have on the truck you could order for in store...

Wrightgrip wrench lengths, anyone have the specs?

Hopefully, the link works. Should be able to look up whatever wrench you are considering and find the length. http://www.wrighttool.com/online_catalog.asp Just forewarn, Wright tends to put the metric wrench lengths and specs in millimeters, while the factional wrench specs are in inches.
