I put a request in to Tekton for these sizes after they released the 1 9/16"-2". I work on mining processing equipment. We see a lot of 41's, 46's, and 50's. I wanted them for hydraulic adapter fittings though will use them for bolts and nuts as well. Having these sizes in 1/2" makes life easier...

I just ordered a wide mouth 8" Bacho for $30, we'll see how close it is to the wide mouth 8" snappy I usually carry. For a while I believe the bahco and snappy were the same wrench and possibly the OEM for snappy.

I agree they need some smaller dead blow ball peens, it would be nice to have some other smaller options out there. Having some smaller trusty cooks available from Tekton would be be nice.

Ball end hex, especially the long version are a fragile tool similar to ratcheting wrenches. Not great for breaking things loose though extremely handy. If you abuse them, they will break, the material removed for the ball is a natural failure point. I have a set of the long Icons at work...

A lot of it has to do with what you are doing. The average weekend hobbyist time really isn't important, walking back to your tool box for a wrench isn't a big deal. Turning wrenches for a living on flat rate time is money. Dealer guys have a pretty good idea what common sized tools they need...

I have an 8oz snappy ball peen dead blow. It's a nice size to have for things like making gaskets and light precision work.

Tekton 1/4 drive sets have 5, 7, 9, and 11 32's. Their 3/8's sets have 9 and 11 32's. Any common applications for 13 or 15 32's?
