    72x72...inches; my micro garage

It's been a week but I got the space wired this past Saturday. The whole project is an exercise in maximizing space. From the pictures you can see I need to tackle cable management. I made the shelves out of scrap 3/4 birch plywood. I have a lot more so I will add another shelf for larger...

    Work/Living Space, ways around zoning

Kellhammer brings up a very good point that i forgot to mention. Other people. When I lived on the third floor the fourth floor tenant was a stoner DJ who threw parties often. Also upstairs were two metal sculptors who welded and kept oxy and mig rigs...the danger for a fallen tank or sparks...

    Work/Living Space, ways around zoning

I lived in a work loft in downtown Cleveland for four years. The landlord didn't care and I had a crazy amount of space for less than $500 a month. I never once had a fire inspection. But was always prepared to. I did have the gas and water department come to check on pipes. I then flipped...

    Army Base "Garage"

i work at one of these, we call them AMSA or area maintenance facilities, or ECS. A lot of these are under equipped believe it or not. Most have lifts but no 3 phase or sufficient air to support them. Humvees will at most get a swapped engine, they are not actually rebuilt here. The sad...

    72x72...inches; my micro garage

Thanks, I've seen it before but sometimes I give up on threads when they have too many pictures. I'm glued to this forum while at work, so all the pictures can slow my work computer to a grinding halt. I'll re examine it.

    Mid-Michigan Garage (First house)

my only two cents would be to relocate the stereo and cord reel to somewhere higher. Just to give you maximum bench space. In my garage I actually keep the stereo far away from my bench...right next to the door...where my wife hears it and gets pissed.

    72x72...inches; my micro garage

Has anyone ever recessed their airlines? I had planned on running my compressor from the attic of the garage and do not want to run copper tube down the outside of the wall. I would like to get two retractable hose reels and center them between the wall studs. Run the hose through the wall...

The table is 12 ga steel. I hear ya though...it is a bit overkill for a such a small table. The goal for this space is to be minimalist. I need the bike space more than I need table space. For the price I couldn't beat it. I love its look too, but I guess that defeats its practicality.

New Home Owner and First time real garage

I would avoid overhead storage, you're going to create a lot of shadows and will have to add more light fixtures to compensate. To me it seems like a priority issue. My wife wanted all sorts of **** in the garage. All of which went to the basement instead. If it isn't related to your work...

It is a '78 KZ400. This is my current project. Upstairs is an '80 CB750F. I do own a XS650 but that will get its own frame sometime next year; I want to do more than just tack on a hardtail.

    72x72...inches; my micro garage

This is the back left corner of my attached two car garage. I used to have a 3500 sq ft. loft in downtown Cleveland where I "lived" illegally and had a dedicated space for my motorcycles and a space for woodworking. Unfortunately I had to give that up and a lot of my tools too. Now, four...
