I've been reading for months that people are having trouble finding Rotella, but now I'm hearing Delo and even the Costco Kirkland Diesel oil is in short supply.
The set I ordered around Thanksgiving was showing as delivered on December 6. Tracking showed the delivery as 200 miles away. An email to DHL revealed that they had actually "delivered" the package to the USPS and no further tracking was available.
I called Amazon and they originally told me...
Also looking for all the information I can on slab construction, as I'm just a couple weeks away from starting my 34x58 shop construction. The OPs avatar photo caught my eye and then I noticed your username. I used to have a XS29L8B many years ago. It's the one I wish I still had.
Thanks for costing me another $500+. It's rare to see these vises at this type of discount. I wonder if Wilton is planning to offshore the Machinist production as well?
OK, thank you very much for the detailed explanation. I think I'm beginning to understand what the goal is, but I have no experience with concrete. I'm not sure I understand the steel area ratio. #6 rebar is 1.5x the thickness of #4, so does that mean I need 1.5x as much #4? I'm thinking it...
I called Bendpak yesterday because i was confused about the differing information between my original owner's manual and the new 2019 concrete requirement data sheet. The person i spoke with would give me no other information other than telling me that they would email me a pdf of the current...
Is this a new spec sheet from Bendpak? Everything I've ever seen said 4" thick and 3000psi. i just had a contractor out here yesterday to give me a bid on my new shop and i decided to verify my slab requirements. Here is the link to the bendpak PDF-...
Saw this posted on GovPlanet and the auction has less than 24 hours to go. Current bid is $805 for 5 Brand New Yost vises. I believe they are the 33C model. If I was closer I'd be all over it, at least keeping an eye on the auction. Maybe a group buy if a member is close enough to pick them...
Baught this leval to replace crappy leval from Home Depo that I dropped and it braked. Now I discover all my previous done jobs are not leval. This leval is the best!
Thanks for the info. The stamped number on top of the slide looks like a 7 68, so maybe its a 1968 model. It's a huge vise, makes that beer bottle look small.
Picked this Parker 436A up last weekend. It looked pretty rough in the ad and I had to drive a good ways to get it. Decided to knock the crappy paint off with a wire wheel and grease it up. Very happy with the condition and its as smooth as can be. Does anybody know how to determine the age...
