I’m a 62 year old retired/disabled Hair Stylist. I have lots of interest in DIY. But my Hubs does not. Try as I may he just doesn’t like the idea of DIY nor is it his wheelhouse.

I watch lots of videos and even check out library books to learn. I come from a long line of DIYers. My Dad was an electrician. He added on our home making it twice the size. With the help of his Dad, a pipe fitter. They built many things together. A huge garage in the back yard.

My oldest brother and many members of my family DIY. My oldest brother and his wife have redone all the homes they have owed. I just wish it was something we could do together and to save money. My hubs works hard for his wage. He’s retired from the Army also. I hate to see his income used to make others rich when we can do stuff ourselves. Dreaming of so form off DIY someday
