Hi everyone.
I’ve seen some info on here about Husky cabinets but it’s about 10 years old.
I’m ordering if anyone has any feedback on the quality of the cabinets. I’m specifically looking at...
True. I’m also assuming he inflated the price a bit because he hates doing them. As he put it his days of climbing around in an attic are done [emoji3]

My HVAC guy said that when he did install them he used materials that were up to code. He also said the vent had to be switched out to stainless as well.
I am going to get a couple more quotes to compare.

So I was given a like new Reznor UDAP-75 which is the perfect size for my garage. The only thing now is to run a gas line and insulate the attic.
The line needs to be run from one end of the house through the attic and finally to the heater. I would say it’s roughly 60 to 100 feet
I went to...
A couple of weeks ago I added a hand railing to the landing.
Around that time I found out that my Uncle passed away. He was a big role model and mentor in my life. I found out that he bought a new garage heater a year or so ago and I was able to take it home with me (after a late night work...
Blown would be ideal and it’s something to consider. I’m assuming I’d have to put plastic down before blowing it in there?
Also I do use the attic for storage so I’m thinking I could use rolls under the storage part and blown in the rest of the attic.

I was given a Reznor 75,000 BTU heater that’s like brand new yesterday. I have my walls insulated, but my attic is not. My thought was to use paper faced batts as the vapor barrier
My question is if that will be sufficient as a vapor barrier or do I need to use the plastic barrier as well...

Drywall has been installed! My nephew stopped over and did most of the work. It only took him about an hour and a half to complete. I’m holding off on muffing and taping until it gets warmer.
I’m trying to decide between building an 8’ workbench or going with a storage solution like HD husky...
Wow it’s been awhile since I updated this thread. I finally got motivated to do some work on the garage. Albeit 2.5 years after we bought the house.
First up is I fixed the attic ladder. The old owner did a number on it. They bent o e of the arms and the spring wasn’t attached. I ordered new...
Thanks for the photo! thats exactly what I needed to see.
My goal is to take the chill out of the air for those really cold days. Then add a plumbed heater to work in the garage occasionally next winter. While I would love to heat my garage to 40 or 45 in the winter, Im concerned about how...
