I felt the stick measurement method was tricky too. I bought my kit from Lowe's and it was a tall black 6 gallon bucket. We used the smaller batch side of the stick and felt it was hard to see the level all the way at the bottom of a dark bucket tall 6 gallon bucket. I also had 4 eyes checking...

About a week ago I etched my garage floor using a sprinkling can, then it rained so it took longer to dry. Once it dried there were a few areas where the top was still pretty slick. And you could see a zig-zag trail where I had poured the acid from the sprinkling can, so I decided to get a pump...

Thanks for the replies. After some more google'n I'm going to do option 3, roll the epoxy and fill the cracks with sikaflex later. Like this guy but I'll use less, everyone says it expands and I don't want a convex fill. I'll attach some of my finished pics later.
