I have 60 bulbs (15 4-bulb fixtures) mounted at 12 feet from the floor in a 50 x 60 building. You have 50 bulbs in half the space. Prepare to be amazed!

Two 25,000 btu window/wall units can be had for about $1000 and will make a big difference in an 1800sf shop. I have one 25,000 btu unit in a 3000sf shop and it makes a noticeable difference. I'll soon find out how much of a difference it makes in the electric bill!

A large window unit will take the edge off. There's a 25,000 btu window unit (no window, just a hole in the wall!) in my 3000sf shop. Last weekend it was 100° outside, but it was about 85° inside. It's really too small and runs all the time, but it makes the shop usable.
