    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

:lol::lol: I was laughing when I saw that pile in person I mean that impressed me and I'm in the industry but I guess you can't impress the internet. I wish I took a pic of the dude who had one of those large green plastic bins on a cart with about 25 broken fuels in it. Anyways back...

Well said and agreed, this happens all the time. It's to be expected. Every milwaukee dealer should already have the 9.0s, 12v 6.0s and new 12v 3.0s they were shipping out from warehouses a couple weeks ago. I don't know how they squeezed a 6.0 battery into that little frame. I don't think...

We see about 4-5x more failures as compared to makita or dewalt. The old milwaukee stuff was bullet proof, we're still repairing hole hawgs and roto hammers from 25-30 years ago that are still in service today but modern corded sawzalls come in multiples on a weekly basis along with toasted m18...

Yeah it's only 10 or 11 tools no big deal I guess if you're a homeowner :lol_hitti The 6.0 m12 batteries are awesome though.

Yes because you'll need it. Here you go bud, all belong to one guy. The white makitas are homeowner grade and antiquated tech, pretty funny comparison though.

It's not like I sell milwaukee tools or anything so I'm sure you know more about their product lineup than me. It's also not like me being in the industry trumps your singular experience either :lol_hitti

One 6.0 m18 is 200 cad? That's what makitas are going for.

Yes it's my fault, I visit the service center frequently as well. They have a 5 year warranty because you'll need it! I always rec the high torque impact and sawzall which are fantastic tools. The portabands are great too just all their accessories pretty much **** including blades. Their...

Milwaukee battery pricing is actually fair, makita has the most extortionate pricing with never any promo deals unless they're phasing something out like the non gauge 3.0s during xmas time last year. Dewalt has always charged the least for their batteries but with the prices on twin packs of...

Our rep didn't have the recip on him but I told him about blade orientation being a deal breaker for most guys. The brushless makita recip is spectacular but the fuel is still impressive to this day. Battery pricing is insanely good through this promo period re: the flexvolt stuff.

Your experience is one data point, I have about 500 LOL!! I have pictures of mountains of broken fuel tools on my phone. We fix lots of power tools you don't have to believe a word I have to say if you choose. It's great you've had no issues and I hope that continues to be the case. I used...

Yep that was a pretty big omission on their part, can't understand how they even overlooked that. Also the blade right on the circ saw has been the topic of controversy as well. I'm not a dewalt guy but have been very impressed by this new line and newer xr tools coming out as of late.

Perhaps demand outstripping supply? Then flex volt stuff was very impressive when we tested it. I've gotten estimates of 3 weeks shipping time to stores from the dewalt rep.

The reason you see lot of it on the site is a) they do a great job marketing and b) are very generous with their industrial sales reps being reckless in all of their promises of tools for cheap to construction companies. They are more prevalent amongst electricians and plumbers because they...

Lots of people like the color red, seriously. However they're decent tools but not meant for heavy construction use. The innovation is good but it is usually at the cost of the quality/durability of the tools.
