    side job rate

I recently have put my tool box to use on the side after my wife lost her job. Im probably undercharging, but Augusta is a poor area and many people are hard up. I charge 20/ hour for side work at my house, and 25/hour if i travel, garages around here get between 50-90/ hour. I don't take every...

I agree, in 20 years I broke 1wrench and it was clearly abused, as for the question posed blue point is nice for the money, and who cares if its satin

How well does a garage floor need to drain water?

There is a good thing about the water pooling, it is helpfull in determining where to put a drain.

    Scanner?

I have 2 different Innova scanners and they are awesome. Live data/ freeze frame, all for a fair price, some of the craftsman and a couple of the older bluepoint scanners were rebranded Innovas.

    Craftsman OBD scanners

I've got 2 innova/ equus they are very nice and decently priced when you consider the features. You may do better by an innova that hasn't got a craftsman sticker

    Ratcheting wrenches

I've got the craftsman SAE set (no flip switch). Yes I am aware the are probably from China but they seem to work ok. I'm sure they are not the sturdiest thing but for the money they aren't bad. Gear wrench are also nice. The best I have used came off of a truck.

My absolute favorites are easy: combination wrenches Snapon and the older style MAC, for screwdrivers I'm partial to the hard handle Snapon...
