6-Month-Old Concrete Driveway on a Brand-New House is showing flaking

Unbelievable that I always had this issue but just noticed (compared the new Pic I uploaded yesterday with one that I uploaded in my original post several months back). Is this purely cosmetic?

6-Month-Old Concrete Driveway on a Brand-New House is showing flaking

Apologies for using old thread for new question. I'm seeing grey/blackish spots on my driveway. I washed some areas with diluted outdoor bleach yesterday and then thoroughly rinsed the driveway. Any idea what these spots are?

6-Month-Old Concrete Driveway on a Brand-New House is showing flaking

I used the wire brush then i cleaned the voids with outdoor bleach. I mixed 4 parts quikrete concrete mix with 1 part (mixture of water and aclryric fortifier). I noticed that I put a little extra material so i had no choice but to spread it across areas that didnt needed patching. After about 5...

6-Month-Old Concrete Driveway on a Brand-New House is showing flaking

@ConCretin I was prepping this area to patch it with a wire brush. I was not being anywhere close to being aggresive and some of the surrounding top layer got chipped off and got much bigger. If the top layer is this weak, do i still not have a reason to worry?

6-Month-Old Concrete Driveway on a Brand-New House is showing flaking

I am thinking of using quickrete concrere patch that we get in home depot as its easily available vs ordering something online. Do i need to patch these tiny holes individually that are in close proximity of should i put one big patch and try to spread it out over slightly larger area?

6-Month-Old Concrete Driveway on a Brand-New House is showing flaking

Not trying to find a problem but perhaps pics arent doing justice. Like I said i am noticing more of these spots everytime I look but i dont know if they are preexisting or new (indicating an issue). Is there any independent contractor i can find that can come and take a look at it?

6-Month-Old Concrete Driveway on a Brand-New House is showing flaking

@ConCretin and other members. I have found additional spots where the concrete is chipping. Those pictures are also attached in my first post with today's time stamp in the file name. Most of the pictures have some sort of stain in the chipped area and only one that doesn't. As you can see that...

How about Dap crack filler? This product is powdered where you lay it down and then pour misty water on top. Any other recommendation from home depot or lowes?

Stain the driveway? Wouldnt that needed to be repeated every so and then due to hot tire pick up?

I live in Atlanta and the weather here is mild so no salt is used. I want to rule out structural issue. I would like to know what product i can use to fill these holes. Additionally, what is the best way to prolong the life of this driveway.

6-Month-Old Concrete Driveway on a Brand-New House is showing flaking

Hello Everyone, This driveway was poured by the builder's contractor roughly 6 months ago. The driveway has developed tiny flaking in multiple areas (please see attached pictures). There are likely more areas showing small amount of flaking, but these are the most obvious ones. The house was...
