    Drill Press Mobile Base

I have an early Delta 15" DP that I need to put on a mobile base. I picked up a Shop Fox heavy duty that will easily handle the weight. My question is how large do I make the base? I'll be putting a couple layers of 3/4" ply underneath and not sure if I need to add a few inches all around for...

    Benchmaster Mill

It's interesting, when you look up the number 21-100 on Vintage Machinery there are no Delta codes with only five digits. However the first two numbers (21) in all six digit codes places the date of manufacture from 1942 to 1943. Not sure when Rockwell entered the picture but I don't think it...

    Benchmaster Mill

Another concern I have is ability to move the machine. I've heard the Clausing breaks down nicely.

    Benchmaster Mill

Thanks. They don't come up very often around me (eastern PA) and I go back and forth between a Benchmaster and Clausing 8520. If I get a stand for the Benchmaster, it will take up as much floor space as the Clausing.

    Oil can oil?

I was wondering about trans fluid or like lubricants. I've had a half quart of power steering fluid for about 20 years.

    Oil can oil?

When I was a kid my father would take the cans of oil he just put in the car after a change and let the remainder drain into his oil can. Every day, he'd change the can until the five cans were completely empty. When I needed to squirt some oil on my bicycle chain it was 10 W 40. My question is...

    Hole Saw?

I'm about to add some dust collection to my Unisaw and need suggestions on cutting a 4" hole through the steel for the dust port. My original thought was to use a jig saw but the saw will remain in its upright position and that method would be awkward. I decided to go on Amazon and see what's...

    Metal Lathe Parts 618/101

I have a parts lathe that I would like to finish parting out. If anyone needs anything pictured, let me know and we'll work out a price plus postage. A few notes; the motor pulley on the countershaft is badly chipped, the hand wheel on the tailstock is missing. The carriage assembly, spindle...

Free Delta 14" Bandsaw Fence for Parts Claimed

I purchased a set of rails for the bandsaw last year and this fence came along with it. It's missing parts but I thought someone might be able to use the remaining parts. Just cover postage and you can have it.

    Drill Press Production Table Question

Another question, would you prefer having a production table or the standard swivel table?
