Been putting this together over the winter, built with old polaris spindles and .120 wall 2x2 and 1.25x1.25 square and 1 5/8" round tube. Havent welded much in the last 7 years, been great to burn some wire and put something together.
I have one of these:

Correct, the lid won't close with the bars in there. But I rarely ever close it.
I did snap a few pics of the box this evening. Here they are in order from the top tray down:
Sorry the first pic is sideways, I'll fix it tomorrow on my computer at work.:pimpflash
Finally got a couple of pics of my cart before and after the addition of the 2nd box on the bottom.

You can see I cut the front off of the bottom box where the lock cylinder goes to use it at storage. When I put it back together I also used 5/16" stainless button head...
I did a quick search and found some clear ones on zoro.

Just picked up a 2nd 4 drawer cart yesterday for 107 and am planning on stacking it under my existing 4 drawer cart. I'll post pics this weekend after I get it done. Those that have done this, what if anything would you have done different?
One other benefit of the Milwaukee 16' is that its marked on both sides so its easier to read.
Here's a link to the tape on zoro

I have a Milwaukee 16' magnetic tip, and a Stanley 12' clipped to the side of my toolbox. I mainly use them when I'm cutting, grinding, and fabricating. The magnetic tipped tape is great for working with steel solo when ya don't have anybody to hold the dumb end for ya.
Yeah its not cheap at all... about 50 bux a tube. Unfortunately once you open it you more or less have to use it since the two parts mix in the nozzle and will harden after a while. Normally if we have an open tube and have finished the job we will fill in holes and cracks in the concrete...
