Helping out a neighbor. As far as I can tell this is a Charles Parker 279X vise. Big as hell. Is this a case of leave it alone as is? Or sandblast it and restore it. Looks like it has been inside all it's life. Any photos of the colors when it was original?

sorry, summer is gone, haven't been on in a while. getting the house started.

Haven't posted in a while. Garage is getting functional. I love the wall control peg/slot boards. I put the floor down in the office and moved the old run in shed form the back to the side to use for a wood shed.

it looks like there are two lawers of floor. could it have originally secured a table, or equipment. It maybe there are more in other areas of the floor and this one the top layer of skim coat didn't stay?

why the moisture concern? seems like that would be taken care of by caulking the new stud walls.

And I now have security cam.

I am definately going to bring it in and clean it up and see what it looks like.

Well I will clean it up and see what happens. I was amazed the handle moved. To bad my other one isn'r the same. This one goes up but not down and missing wheels.

Oh and they boxed in the metal frame on the end... I will leave the main beam in the middle exposed. That way I can easily hang stuff from it.
