What makes a good vice good?

I own this one. It's been great having a really nice vice vs the cheaper one I had before. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/IBFKR_WHxt8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Husky 52" Tool Box Review - Home Depot

Almost been a year now and no issues. Although, I never have a reason to move my box, so I assume that will add to the longevity. Like anything you get what you pay for. For the price... I don't think there is a better deal out there. With managed expectations, this can be a great box.

    New Drill Press Vice

Thank you guys. I try to keep them interesting. I got the Honda running really well. I just haven't done much since. New Drill Press Vice

Prior to this, I had a much lighter vice. It was so light that heavier stock would cause it to move under my drill press. I could have secured it to the table, but I need to it to be versatile for the types of project I do. Also my older one had jaws that were loose and wobbly. I assume that...

A while back I built a few welding carts for some new Everlast equipment I bought. I've been really happy with the carts and how I can move them around the garage, but I did not anything to keep the leads organized. Finally I got tired of wrapping these things around the machine and came up with...

Built an Oil Can Holder for my Drill Press

I don't know about you guys but I got tired of having this thing out on the bench all the time. I got some scraps together from around the shop and made this custom piece that could hook onto my drill press. I didn't really plan to much, went through some trial and error, but it turned out ok...

Yes I agree with you, associations ****! I don't live a neighborhood that has one either. Yes, I did the stone work. It is real stone called Lompoc ledge, I'm in southern California, I think it is only available here. However there might be something similar where you are. Start with a stucco or...

Wanna build a stone veneered mailbox?

The homeowners Association would not allow block and rebar because the footing that was designed by the engineer was to be 30'' x 30'' x 12'' deep. The association rejected it. But approved 12'' x12'' x 2' deep. So that is what I did. strange!! But whatever, The homeowner got what they wanted...
