What's up with black PB Swiss bits?

Yes, I agree; the Amazon listing appears to feature a counterfeit PB Swiss product. The box is certainly different and while the product description mentions color-coded bits, the photo shows otherwise. Interestingly, the product number is "PB Swiss" and the brand name is "アストロプロダクツ". Geez...

Stud finder for wood? Willing to pay $100.

Based upon recommendations here on GJ, I also purchased a Franklin. Worked like a charm; made my project super fast/easy. I'd recommend it too. Also bought a case for it. Franklin ProSensor M210 - $60 https://www.amazon.com/Franklin-Sensors-ProSensor-M210/dp/B0917VXLDK?tag=atomicindus08-20...

    European Adjustable Wrenches

Right you are! The Hazet 279 does not appear to be made in Germany. I've checked with the company I purchased mine from (www.jensputzier.com) and they've responded that the Hazet 279 had been manufactured in Spain but, according to Hazet, is now manufactured in Taiwan.

    European Adjustable Wrenches

Hazet offers several adjustable wrenches with the COO listed as Germany. Not sure of the actual manufacturer though. Chrome or phosphate finishes, both are nice.

    Show your new tool arrivals

After seeing this 90 degree gearless drive mentioned here on GJ, I had to check it out for myself. Don't know if I'll ever use them but fascinating tools nonetheless. The 1/4" version needed lubricant and still doesn't rotate as freely as the 3/8" version. They also make a 45 degree version...

Just received the new Snap On PL344BCF/PL344BCFND talon grip slip joint pliers set, which I mainly ordered to obtain the small size long nose talon grip pliers (LN44BCF). I ordered both the dipped and non-dipped sets for comparison. I'll keep the non-dipped set in my road kit. The pliers are...

    Torque Screwdriver

I've bought PB Swiss most often from these two US-based companies: DRPD - https://drpd.cc/brands/pb-swiss/?_bc_fsnf=1&category=36 The Tool Lady - https://toollady.com/store/Torque-Tools-c17876056 Always had great service from both so I consider each to be a reliable "good source". Yep, PB...
