Vehicle Oil Changes: Are you a DIY'er?

I do ALL the work on my old cars ( with some help from a buddy sometimes) , but nothing on anything past 1975 unless it was my old jeep. That way working on old cars is still fun and not work. Plus I like to know if I have any metal in the oil coming out of the old flathead.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Haven't had any garage time since last weekend, but this is the last thing I did. Custom shiftknob made from 1923 nickel, brass washer and an old Bakelite knob. Made on a 1920s senneca falls lathe. Currently looking for s newer (1940-60) lathe while running a 2 hr test at work

We are actually considering moving to Colorado...or Oregon/Washington, just anywhere less expensive in the next couple years

    Help ID this horizontal mill.

I have just picked this up on Craigslist and was wondering if anyone knows anything about it. No makers marks at all. Little bench top model like my benchmaster but a bit different in design. I'll post some more pics later when it's light out side Thanks guys!

Hello GJ, Just introducing myself. Been using the information on this site for awhile but have never posted. Been collecting Plomb and craftsman V, old machine tools ( benchmaster mill, Seneca falls lathe, unknown make horizontal mill) and other rusty things. Into old hotrods and customs...
