I don't have more than a mechanics tool set, a dremel, cordless drill, and hand tools. I do have a rental house nearby though. I figured if I can fix my car, my appliances, and rent a bobcat and grade my property myself I can tackle this. Thanks for letting my pick your brains guys.

I'll try to explain it better. The garage floor lays about 3/4" above the asphalt driveway. There is "space" for the current 1.5" thick garage door so it can lay flat on the lower apron when the garage door is closed. I want to cut the lip back another .5" or so to make room for a thicker garage...

Just chisel out from the bottom after making the cut or is there a cleaner way to do it?
