    HOA horrors?

My best friend can't tell me what color to paint my house, even if he buys the paint!! I'm damn sure not letting a bunch of neighbors do it! No HOA for me........... :(

    Homemade Humble Roll-A-Round Work Bench

I built a similar rolling work table years ago for my shop. It has been, & still is, one of the most useful things in the shop. Yours will probably be the same.

Electrical outlets that work fine but plugs are tight to remove

Those outlets are relatively new, or seldom used. They will loosen up eventually.

Mounting a Large Mural to my Garage Wall with Velcro

Solpainter gave you the answer. You can screw the lath to the wall at the studs so its sturdy but east to remove. All you'll have to repair if you take it down is a few screw holes & some paint matching.

Dangit. Mice droppings all over the garage

I keep posting this but get little feed back. It's cheap, easy, & worth a try. Take a shredder & shred a couple of bars of Irish Spring soap. Scatter the shredding around the shop in out of the way places. See what happens to your mice... :dunno: We had critters living under out A/C pads &...

    Whole House/Garage Minisplit Install!

They will need replacing some day. I just replaced a 10 year old mini split in my shop. The same manufacturer was one of the more expensive, so I opted for a less expensive unit with heat included (I don't need heat in Fla., but... :dunno: ) The new unit came complete with a line set. I...

    Jolted :/

Over 50 years ago I started working for Ma Bell. I started in a Central Office being trained by an old switch man that walked with a limp. EVERY time he worked on a power circuit he went to the fuse or circuit breaker, took it out & put it in his pocket. One day I asked him why he kept...

    Switched flood lights with on/off/photocell

I may have misunderstood you. Why would you want to turn the entire system off? Any photo cell will have to have power run to it. From there you run the output to the relay, & the output from the relay to the light(s). They'll come on at dark & go off at sunrise whether you're there or...

    Switched flood lights with on/off/photocell

Any flood light, a photocell, & a relay. The photocell operates the relay. The relay turns the lights on/off. Not real complicated... :dunno:

    Insurance on Detached Garage

You own the property, you aren't required to have insurance. Look up your premium, call your agent, & ask if they are willing to loose that much money. If you've never filed a claim it's all profit, if they want to give it up take your premium to another company, or buy liability only & tell...
