    German Goodness

My tool guy is my new best friend. He knows I'm a Porsche guy and found me this factory sealed Hazet/Porsche tool box, #49 out of 50?? I'm guessing it's about 10-15 years old. Even the boxes are cool! I can't wait to set it up. It might have to go in the living room...

Not your average which toolbox thread.

By far, the strongest tool storage I have ever seen is Strong Hold. I have some of their stationary and roll around units. They make my Snap On and Hazet boxes feel and look like toys. They are not fancy looking, so nobody would think about stealing them. FYI, they are VERY heavy and will...

    Next tool to restore...

That looks like a great project...great work so far! They are always more involved than we think. A broken belt turned into a complete restoration on my old Craftsman lathe. I just got it operational so there is still some tweaking. My next project is to finish the cosmetics on an early...

    First welder suggestions

BTW, make sure to look at the different package options. Spring for the complete setup if possible. The accessories (TIG torch, cart, flow meters, spool gun) are top quality and would cost a fortune if purchase separably.

    First welder suggestions

Check out the Thermal Arc Fabricator series units. The 211 would be excellent. It would be a while before you out grow it's capabilities as your skills improve. They will stick, MIG, and dc TIG. Add a spool gun and it will MIG aluminum very well. I have the larger brother (252i) and can't...

    Welding table pics ?

Yes, that is a "big 'un". Columbian 506M, 6" jaws, 25 " overall length, 10" high. I can't remember how much it weighs...maybe around 80-100 lbs. I got it from an old hydraulic shop that was closing. They had two, I should have taken both! I don't think about it much anymore but it is the...

    Welding table pics ?

Here's my welding table made from old pallet racking and scraps of 3/16" and expanded sheet. The only thing purchased were the casters and spray paint. It functions as a welding and fabrication table. Those casters were worth every penny as one person can still roll it around. I decided not...

Bar Folder, sockets, milling cutters, etc.

OK, if the rules say there needs to be a price... sockets, rails and wrench $100.00 or BO milling cutters $150.00 or BO Bar folder $700 or BO transmission tools and box $200 or BO

Bar Folder, sockets, milling cutters, etc.

The rails only go with the sockets and wrench as a set. All prices are "best offer".

Bar Folder, sockets, milling cutters, etc.

I have some old tools that have not been used and need to go. I have no idea what they are worth so these are going to sold for best offer on the sets only as listed. Let the free market decide! I will not separate the sets. I'm not sure what all the tools are for. The socket etc. can be...
