Thanks for the reply! Yes, I can get some more pictures for you That's also initially what I was thinking as well -- to just find some way to repair things because everything looks to be in great shape, just wasn't sure how the mechanism goes back together. And yes, still has the pawl inside...

Hi all -- First post here so hopefully this is the right spot. I recently got a toolbox full of some cool USA tools at an estate sale, and found this Easco 1/4" ratchet in it. The direction selector (I am not sure of the right term) was not fixed to it, like it's missing a spring or something...
