Quick math shows 1/2" OD 1018 steel at a 1ft cantilever would support ~58lbs if loaded at the very end of the rod before any permanent damage to the rod. Obviously not evenly distributed like a shelf would be, but serves as a good reference. If you had 4 rods... 58lbs becomes 232lbs.. So on and...

Alphatig is back down to 680 on Amazon. Throw an extra 300 into a 9 series torch and SSC pedal and you have a strong hobby level welder than can handle most anything.

Has anyone ever disassembled the drawer latch mechanism? Found a killer deal in 76" with top, but it's completely the wrong color and I thought about having it wrapped.

Does anyone have or know if you can spec out a 84" with a 6" deep top drawer?
