    Which Welding Rods?

I like Lincoln Excalibur 7018MR H4R, or the Hobart equivalent Hobart XLM 7018 H4R. We use it at work for elevator rail brackets, never see's a rod oven and lays down nice. It's 35-40 for a 10lb can and worth every penny

post your tools left in the engine bay story

A few years ago I had an '05 SRT-4 Neon, I had the radiator go bad, after a 5 hour swap I drove it to work the next day, I heard a boom and the temp spiked badly..left a pair of Channelock needle nose pliers in the bay, they fell into the electric fans and seized them...new radiator, new fans...

    Vise advice? Value?

That craftsman is usually 60-75 in our area, the Athol would be pushing 200. But tools always seem to cost more in Washington. Where did you find those vises?

EMT Conduit and Plastic Insulator Bushings?

They are not required by code but in our industry(elevator) we use them on everything, for the cost they are worth the extra protection. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
