I have a cinder block attached garage with one of the walls adjoining conditioned space. The wall is framed in and soon to be drywalled. The framing stands about an inch+ off the wall. There is no vapor barrier on the wall currently. What are my options when it comes to insulating that wall?

I don't know anything about z furring. Potentially cost? what strength do they support for mounting objects to the wall?
