Im finding the challenge of my project now intriguing and because i didn't have much help with the garage when i started its sort of my baby. someone else did do the work on the carport and i've tried to continue when they stopped showing up but i'm ready to tear it all down and start again. Having said that I don't have a lot of experience with restoring rotted portions of old buildings or concrete work, retaining wall that need to be incorporated into foundation repairs. But I moved to southern alberta in 2012 to where i'm from and my family are. My grandmother is there and probably doesn't have much time left. I own the property where i'm doing to work. I lived here and raised my sons here and have been back for 2 years to renovate the house to sell or rent until it sells so i can buy where i live now. I've missed having my garage workshop and yard. The garage has value to me and to my new tenant who wants to move in on jun 10th. I'd like to get the garage at least stable by then and the carport roof plan decided. I can come back after he moves in and continue work or have other people come and do footing pour concerete fix the slab etc. I kind of wanted to do the finishing myself with. I'm having mixed feelings about going "home" and leaving this "home" haha
