That will to it, just need to add a few inches of straight with a 90 deg elbow to the duct in the wall box

    Dryer Vent hose options.

No, not in my application. Looks interesting, but how to you get between the dryer and wall to make the connections?

    Dryer Vent hose options.

Maybe a little off topic. Does anyone know if a dryer vent hose is available that has a spring force like a slinky toy? My dryer is in a laundry closet. The vent on the wall is a modern dryer wall box. When you attach a typical expanding hose to the wall vent and the dryer and push the dryer...

Kerosene and propane heater CO2 concerns and numbers. My experiment.

Growing up I remember my parents buying a Kerosene heater when fuel oil and NG skyrocketed in the 70s. You did what you needed to do, but you're right, the cielings were darkened from the soot, and today seems like a crazy hazard to fill the unit in the house.

I may have to live in a cardboard house!

Recommend looking at renting a site trailer if you already have septic and well. We were going down the path of renting a trailor for 6 months while we built and at the last minute the township did not approve the use. We lived with our in-laws for the 5 month it took to build and get a...

    Fire Extinguishers

I keep a CO2 in the Garage, a small CO2 in the kitchen, and an ABC on each floor. Shop around, look for a local service company.

    Tight space surface rust removal

Phosphoric Acid works good for rust removal. Brush on, soak and wash off. But treat the metal quickly it will develop flash rust. Phosphoric Acid will turn rust into Iron Phosphate and will not harm parent metal. Do not get it on concrete.

(Solved) Faucet plumbing question on finding compression plug

I'm having trouble following your thread. Why not simply install new Sharkbite valves and close the valves when needed?

First time building a storage shed, squaring the frame questions

Another suggestion, instead of building a wood ramp, I laid gravel at the door way. I found someone offering free belgium block on FB Market Place, and randomly laid them in the gravel to give the look of an old abandoned road. (The front of the shed looks better in when the plants are green)

First time building a storage shed, squaring the frame questions

    I found bar clamps like these I used all the time. Good for holding siding, while you position for nailing. Like a third hand. PITTSBURGH 12 in. Ratcheting Bar Clamp/Spreader - Item 62123 / 46807 / 68975 / 69221 / 69222 / 63017 https://hftools.com/app62123

    About Bleeding Brakes.

I've never had good results from a pressure bleeder. I bleed brakes on my two cars once ever few years, I find it easier to ask my wife or kids to sit in the car and pump the peddle while I loosen and tighten the bleeder.

First time building a storage shed, squaring the frame questions

Square the perimeter with 3-4-5 ratio and nail the flooring. Then start framing the walls. Remember you're framing a shed not building furniture. I ordered material by phases, a floor package, framing package, exterior sheeting, roof. If you working alone, remember bar clamps are your third...
