Very interesting, differently different than the info I've seen on BITOG but welcome none the less.
They wouldn't need a separate refinery to change the add pack but regardless it looks as if it might have the same add pack.
Just ordered one, man I ALMOST bought one of these the other day

Couple bucks more for USA vs China.
Glad I waited :)
After adding some lube to my kobalt ratchet it's about as smooth as my snap on dual 80 but the SO has twice the teeth engaged so that's not really fair.
I sent this link to the wife a while back and hinted it would make a good Father's Day gift. She got me this and a pair of USA made Channel Lock pliers.
The ratchet seems really nice, especially for the money. I hope the selector holds up better than the Harbor Freight style.
I was in the area so I hit up the store in Roseville CA. They had 6-7 US made sets of metric 3/8 and a LOT of Chinese. The Chinese kits are black and come in a bigger box than the grey USA box.
Anyway I grabbed a set of metrics as backups. I noticed the raised panel ratchet now has a plastic...
I had no idea that keeping your torque wrench tight ruined it. I have one that I kept set for years. It's probably garbage now.
Oh well Monday I'll be right by a HF so $10.00 isn't too painful of a mistake :)
