    The 1,000 footer - 28x36 (35.5) pole barn/garage build

Msgross- your garage looks great! What was the deciding factor for you going with post-build over stick built? Sounds like your happy, if you could do it again would you build with the same method? I've heard a few guys say you don't really save that much money by opting for the post framing...

Wow, i like this style build, alittle bit different then the norm putting poles into the ground! What was the deciding factor for you building your garage this way over the traditional method of pole building, what is the cost difference of a stick built over the style you went with? Is their...

How big is your garage? looks to be about or over 40' long? It looks like you chose to build it a lil different then most build post setup garages... did pouring the floor first make it any easier to frame up the rest of the building? Did you have the garage frame built by a crew or just the...

    30x32 or 24x40???

I was just going to reply why not go 28' x 36' Its the best bet for what your trying to do... 28' is much roomier over 24', 4 feet makes a big difference, some would say still go wider, but this is a good compromise Im also going 28x40 or 28x36 as well:beer:

Finally get my own garage..it begins....

I love the 2 story. What made you choose a gambrel style roof? I'm guessing it gives you the most useable space with this style? I can't really see a good look of your neighbor hood but from one of the pics it looks like you live in a very nice up beat neighborhood, I'm surprised your "hoa"...
