    My lighting plan?

Yeah tall ceilings can be a mixed bag. Oh I forgot to mention there are different CRI ratings on bulbs. These are a 0-100 number on how well the produced light renders color. Sodium street lights for a good example, render light horribly and have a CRI around 30. Typically fluorescent bulbs run...

Electrical guru's - How does this sound for my garage electrical overview

It might not hurt to get an ammeter on the feed wires for your main box to make sure its as balanced as possible. With so much high amperage stuff in that sub panel, i would guess your main box is pretty unbalanced

    My lighting plan?

This looks pretty good. Youre looking at a little less than 50 lumens per sq ft which is pretty reasonable which 16' ceilings. What color are the walls/ceiling? Light colors (especially on the ceiling) will help scatter the light around. All T8 bulbs are not equal in lumen output or lifespan...

    Air Compressor Stages/Phases?

Its a twin split cylinder, but its only single stage. Actually thats part of what attracted me to that compressor vs a kobalt or similar compressor..the split cylinder gives more surface area for heat to escape...bonus for longevity. Dont get me wrong...I would love a nicer, more powerful...

    Air Compressor Stages/Phases?

If you look at HF page of that compressor you can compare customer photos with the stock photo and see the motors are different, as is the tank. The customer photo is like mine with the Emerson motor and US tank. Stock photo looks to be a different story

    Air Compressor Stages/Phases?

I should point out I think they are loose with motor manufacturers, I did see multiple brands represented on that aspect and chose the one with the Emerson

    Air Compressor Stages/Phases?

OK, where is that info from? Mine has a US made Emerson motor, A US made and ASME tested tank, Even has a US made Baldor pulley on the pump and motor. Thats a lot of US components. The actual pump i believe is Taiwanese out of an ISO 9001 factory...leaps and bounds above "cheap chinese junk"...

should still meet code if its metal clad wire..which is what i assume you mean when you say flex but always good to specify.

    Your favorite Multimeter?

I use a Sperry DM-6400 that I really like. Really not a fan of auto-ranging meters.

    PUMA PK6060v setup questions

It runs pretty quietly, enough I don't feel the need for ear protection like with smaller units. A poly-V belt helps a lot with vibration/noise -Joel

    PUMA PK6060v setup questions

First off, the motor suggested said 14.7A at 230v which would translate to 14.0 at 240v. No way in the world will you get a measurable increase in efficiency with larger wire. voltage drop on 12 gauge over 70 feet is about 3 volts compared to 2 volts with 10 gauge wire. so 1 volt difference at...

    High quality door lock set?

shalage work really well. Installed one of their smart locks on 2 years ago or so and the batteries seemed to last about a year and a half. Its fantastic to not have to carry keys anymore and it doesnt stop working in the cold like the keyless pad on our garage door -.-

    Workbench help

probably wouldnt want your table saw in with the chop saw as the feed directions for a table saw are front to back and a chop saw is side to side...unless you have a really large area to put it in
