    Milwaukee Packout Setup Screwup!!!!

Thank you... it's a fairly minor issue and it's literally one little hole in the top of the packout system would have solved it. I can put the 20" tote in the back holes but then it doesn't stay locked. If you tip it forward the tote slides out and then you end up with **** everywhere. Ask how I...

    Milwaukee Packout Setup Screwup!!!!

I'm a bit OCD and I just wanted to let everyone know about Milwaukee's Packout Screwup. The 20" Tool Tote and the 10" Tool Tote BOTH do NOT fill the space on top of a Packout. They both sit on the front two rows and nothing is on the back row. If you get a 15" Tool Tote you can get TWO of...

    Fate of Kobalt 24v

I agree. I went with Milwaukee because they are the ONLY tool manufacturer dedicated to LONG TERM support of their cordless tools. Dewalt has proven themselves to be total hacks in this area. If I bought a cordless tool today I'd like to still be using it in five years and buy parts/batteries...

    Anything you need .

only about an hour from me. wonder how much that 33" walk behind would go for. wouldn't mind having that but I don't want to store it. I got too much **** right now and I need to sell a bunch of stuff off. Can't sell at auction as I wouldn't get enough $$ back. Maybe on eBay.

I bought the kit with the jiffy tite fittings from tooldiscounter.com a few weeks ago. will be up for sale at some point. cost me $301 at that time.

    Dear Milwaukee….

So far in M18 I have a hammer drill, impact driver, sawzall, drywall screwgun, drywall cutout tool, and a grinder. So far in M12 I have a drill, impact driver, ratchet, and a pex expansion tool on it's way. Seems like I'm missing a few things. For all of that I have 3 m12 batteries and 2 m18...

    Barrier Cream

I'd give you a bottle of Ghost Glove if you were nearby. The stuff is garbage.

    Properly loading car lift

Look at your lock design. More than likely they are just like jack stand locks. Leave the whole weight on the locks.

What's your opinion on this Harbor Freight Tech Cart?

You aren't a pro mechanic are you? Car on lift, working on brakes. Time is money. 2 hr flat rate done in 1 hour you just doubled your pay. Sure you can do it without a cart but you'll be walking back and forth ten times and put in 200 steps just getting tools. If you have a cart you'll put in...

    Unobtrusive gloves and eye protection?

I used a gray hand glove with a black back. Sam's offers a Grease Monkey glove pack right now for $10. They aren't quite as good as the ones I was using, but that all depends on what you're doing.

New compressor, any tips for getting it of pallet?

I've never done this so YMMV. My suggestion is to take a sawzall and cut the pallet apart underneath the compressor and then turn the blocks sideways and then walk it off from there.

Shop Reputation & Screwups.... wheel torque best practices

In my almost 4 months there I've seen too many wheels need persuading with a 20lb sledgehammer and then they get gunned right back on. I don't like it one lousy bit but 98% of them weren't my problem... the shop doesn't even have the right tools to clean the hubs properly yet. If I go back I...

ALL 20 LUG NUTS were loose? That's REALLY bad!!!! Wow... I'm glad to hear the dealer treated you right. What kind of a hurry were they in that they couldn't tighten 20 lug nuts? One wheel is bad enough... I can't imagine how you felt about all four!
