If it's a metric thread I can figure it out, I have thread gauge for that. I'll check it later tonight. I didn't want to start measuring the thread pitch without at least identifying what kind of thread it was, NPT/BSP/JIC/metric/etc..

I'm not looking to repair/replace a bottle jack. I want the cylinder that is inside but slightly longer. Plan is to get a longer pipe and thread it myself.

Does anyone know what the thread type is used on the main cylinder for a typical 2 ton bottle jack? #25 in the picture. I'm specifically asking for the Pro Lift 2 ton bottle jack if it makes any difference. I assume they are all manufactured more or less the same. I am asking because I am...
