If it was my money i would Go sunex for impact socket's and Tekton for the wrench's. I have had great luck with both brands.

I have 2 of the old trusted Hitachi's as a contractor i think they are the only way to go. I have used the porter cable in question and was not impressed, the rigid from home depot seems ok.

Another carpenter/metal framer here, I run a set of occidental leathers w/ 2 bolt bags. w/ back pad all attached to a full body harness just my set up.

I use old lateral file cabinets, and i found a short 3 drawer unit and put it on a frame with casters. works real well

Don't buy cheap knock off batteries. I know they are cheaper but there is a big difference for true Milwaukee. In my experience they don't hold a charge real well and have less power.

I have a Milwaukee fuel cordless on my truck for quick work, and Dewalt's live in the gangbox's at work. Also i have 4 corded dewalt's in my home shop they get abused and have not had any issues.
