In my case I use cordless mostly for small gun application tasks- Impact Wrench to work on and under the cars; Impact driver/cordless mitre saw to do decking/flooring. Only corded I would use are hammer drilling and wet tile cutting work. Air compressor for sanding and auto restoration.

Ridgid is more sturdier than Ryobi. Lifetime warranty is a plus. More add on expansion will come on the way to ridgid family. Time will come!

Yes Home Depot is expanding more tools. For instance new torque wrench electronic just came out, and flex locking ratcheting wrench set both sae and metric too

they dont juxapose well the way i been hoping for to see that to happen...FOR EXAMPLE that Wright in USA. THAT NAME "MILWAUKEE"AND ITS MADE IN CHINA, I FOUND THIS VERY ODD, Goes in the trash. I would stick with Dewalt hand tools or gearwrench anything CHINESE MADE...

Years back then i say '08-'09 when craftsman made a huge splash on 20 volt pro line, that was da potential right there! It didnt sell. It was a quick come and go and that was it! Big disappointment
