Thanks so much. Heres a couple of pics of the build. The cabinets are actually old blueprint cabinets I got for free from a university. I had a local machine shop waterjet cut a grid of holes every 3". I had to tap 585 holes 1/2-13. I picked up a used but sturdy mag base drill off the internet...

I came across some heavy duty map cabinets which I felt would make excellent storage for a welding table. I decided to build a central table that would act a tool storage and fab / fixture table for my shop. I could transfer my hand and measuring tools and get rid of my roll cabinets thus...

I made this cart from scraps I had around the shop and some de-commissioned lab equipment from work. The only item purchased was the tank holder which is actually for a boat trailer to locate the bow.

I left it on the curb and it was gone!
